rare, white-centered hinggi kombu pair; east Sumba; THIS ITEM CONSISTS OF TWO MATCHED TEXTILES. Excellent condition, clean centers; red and blue areas; employs Dutch rampant lions and eagles in main bands; reserved for royalty; extremely rare variety; doubly unusual in that the white-centered design is in itself rare, it's also rare to find older textiles, originally woven from the identical skein, remain together AND in similar condition
