This batik dodot is of European cotton and obtained from the Jogjakarta kraton, central Java. Due to their limited usage for royal ceremonies and rituals, the double-sized dodot is a rare example of royal batik. Its condition is superb and illustrates classic Javanese batik, intended solely for female usage.
